Kyoto styled sushi is rolled out little different from the rest of Japan. They are pressed into a wooden box to mould it, and are sometimes made with cured fish.
This cuisine is definitely unforgettable! Being back in LA, I definitely miss this dish the most! I haven't found a restaurant in America that can replicate this cuisine taste sadly.
I recommend going to Dotobori Street because they have the best service and it was a great experience there!
