Hitsumabushi is a specialty dish from Nagoya, it consisting of steamed Japanese rice, barbecue grilled eel fillet, a beautifully thick, sticky, sweet/savoury sauce, and assorted condiments and garnishes.
This cuisine is definitely unforgettable! Being back in LA, I definitely miss this dish the most! I haven't found a restaurant in America that can replicate this cuisine taste sadly.
I recommend going to Dotobori Street because they have the best service and it was a great experience there!
